Busy days - May 24

It has been a busy but fun weekend so far.

We did a big bike ride through a nearby park, which is where the top photo is from.

I dug out one of our two raised garden beds on Saturday and did the first mow of the season, now that my grass is finally dry after two full days of rain mid-last-week.

I was interrupted by my kids calling, telling me that my TV wasn't turning on.

I did a bit of fiddling around with the standard tests to see what was going on, and it looks like my backlight LEDs are burned out. That is a repairable problem, if I have the right tools, which I don't.

Unfortunately, that means it's time for a new TV. It's purely a coincidence that I could only find one that was 3 inches larger while being cheap and decent quality.

So, I'm off to the city just after the eldest finishes soccer practice to pick up a new TV which I'll have to mount later today.
