Goosebumps?

This story is for the entry of Goosebumps Storytelling contest #1 by Hive account@cklai.

This is a true story about my neighbour. My neighbour's house is made of wood. It's an old house. Their bathroom floor made of old wood with the gap in between the wood, so that the water can drain out easily if you bath. This means you can see and hear the sound of the water flow from inside the bathroom. You even can see their legs if someone in there. So every time they bath or wash cloths, you will know 😅. My neighbour always baths at around 6am. This will be her routine every day as she will always wake up early.

One day she fell in her bathroom and fainted while she was washing her cloth. Luckily, her husband was there at home that time as it was a weekend. She didn't recover from her fainted, so her husband asks us to call an ambulance, but she was pronounced dead after they reached hospital. According to the doctor she had a heart attack.

Not long after her passing, a mysterious thing happens. The routine that she always did is bathing at around 6am is still going on. At first we thought it was her husband, but her husband has moved out of their house as he was transferred to another district. Her children only once in a while went back to stay there as they usually stayed in the hostel. So who is there and bath at that hour? 🤔😓. As it doesn't stop, it makes us think that her soul is still there 🙁. Every time we hear the sound of flowing water, we goosebumped😫. We told her family about this, they were scared too hehe..they tried everything to stop it, but still the sounds there.

A few years after, the children built a new 2-storey house and remove the old house. At last the sounds of the water flowing have stopped, but what happen next is, 😣 a figure exactly a shape of the aunty can be seen at their stairs at night😫 sometimes standing and sometimes walking down the stairs. We're goosebumps and immediately runs inside the house. So every time we want to go out at night, we never go out alone hehe...this is really scary.

We don't know what exactly happen, why this is happening to her, but what we can do as neighbourhood, is to pray for her soul to rest in peace. This story is actually 20 years back, I have moved out from there, I ask my sister who stayed there, they never saw anything strange like before already. Hopefully, she has rested in peace now 🙏.
