Hello for this contest is easy and this is short. I will give you a riddle and you must solve the riddle by leaving the answer and your IGN in the comments. After one week if no one has solved it, I will leave a one- or two-word clue in a new post. I will keep doing that every time the timer is up every week until it is solved. I will check the answers every day and if someone gets it correct, I will put out another post and/or edit the original as finished. You can guess as many times as you want but if it seems you are just spamming with all kinds of answers to try and win you will be disqualified from winning unless you put a reasoning for the answer, that makes sense, and is tied to the riddle itself. There is only one winner, and it is the first person with the right answer.
Here is the riddle.
What is wet when it is dry and dry when it is wet?
You are playing for a Chaos Legion Zyvax Vuul.
THE LORE
Zyvax Vuul has dedicated his life to understanding the arcane, covering his body in potent sigils, golden runes that glow with power and feed him his unnatural strength and speed. It has been said that he his knowledge of dragon magic is rivalled by no other and he has been given the tile of ‘The Keeper of Dragons’, but rumour also circulates surrounding a voracious, cannibalistic appetite. Whatever the case, he is not only feared throughout Praetoria, but also within the Chaos Legion itself.
Those few that have witnessed him in combat describe a truly ferocious warrior that can fire his claws at the enemy, only for them to immediately regenerate, ready to tear into his opponents. Many a foe has made the mistake of closing down Zyvax to avoid his deadly volleys but have quickly found him even more lethal up close.
Ansell lifted his visor, breathing heavily and feeling sweat tickle beneath his armour. He leant against his sword seeing his brother had done the same, long clouds of breath billowing from his helm.
“That wasn’t so hard, brother Juran,” Ansell looked down at the small dragon, watching the blood ooze from its countless wounds.
“It can’t have been anything more than infant, look at the size of it,” Juran replied.
He was right of course, an adult dragon would have taken an army of paladins to strike down. But each small victory should be counted and he wasn’t going to let this one pass. He was about to suggest they commandeer a wagon to take it back to the garrison with them when a blood curdling shriek split the air above. Ansell looked up and saw a black humanoid shape swoop over them, its body covered in golden runes.
“Look out,” he shouted, swinging his sword up into the ready position as Juran’s armour was hammered with small black missiles.
Juran’s defences held but as he staggered back the creature was upon him, hind legs and claws screeching across the cuirass, as long fangs bit into the chainmail about his neck. Ansell stepped away as blood fountained through the air and his brother’s body was flung to the ground like a rag doll. The attacker spun about, its small wings flapping wildly as the runes glowed brightly across its torso.
“You will die for that,” Ansell grimaced, pointing his sword at the fiend.
The creature glanced down at its dead kin, stooping and snatching a bloody lump of flesh from the corpse. Taking a bite from the morsel before flinging the thing aside, it glared back at Ansell, flexing its wicked looking talons and grinning widely, showing rows of razor-sharp teeth. Blood and globules of flesh from Juran and the dragon dripped onto the psychotic devil's chest as Ansell looked on in disgust.
“It is you that will die,” the creature growled. “Every single one of you.”
