Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is an upcoming American science fiction action film, scheduled for release on May 10, 2024. Serving as the sequel to War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), it marks the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot franchise. Set nearly 300 years after the events of its predecessor, the story depicts ape civilizations thriving while humans have reverted to a feral state. The ape leader, Proximus Caesar, twists Caesar's teachings to subjugate other clans in a quest for remnants of human technology. Noa, a common chimpanzee, embarks on a perilous journey with a young human named Nova to shape the future for both apes and humans.
