"The Bikeriders" is a 2023 American drama film by Jeff Nichols, drawing inspiration from Danny Lyon's 1967 photo-book of the same name about the Outlaws MC, a Chicago-based motorcycle club. Set in the 1960s, it follows the fictional evolution of a Chicago motorcycle club from a local gathering to a menacing gang, endangering their unique lifestyle. Starring Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Norman Reedus, and Tom Hardy, the film was initially set for release on December 1, 2023, but was delayed due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. It's now slated for release on June 21, 2024, after Focus Features acquired it from New Regency.
