I May Have Poachers in My Woods
I found a discarded hoof with attached bones from a deer buck in the forest where I live. The bones and the hoof tend to be dead weight when you got dozens of killos of fresh wild meat.
Granted, bones can be used to make a broth, but if you're in a hurry to get out of the woods with your kill before someone sees you, and are running out of space in your truck, dead weight goes out of the window first.
I have no evidence that the hoof and the bones I found were left them by poachers, but licensed hunters know to bury these in the woods. They don't leave them scattered about like they needed to get out of there in a hurry and could not properly dispose of it.

Keep rocking :o)
