Feeding Fat Balls to Tits and Sparrows in Winter
This is a follow up on my video about feeding songbirds in winter, whereby I showed the three type of tits who live in the thujas next to my house and whom I feed in wintertime in order to help them get through the tough season with little available food.
In this video I refill the birdhouse and bring extra nutrition for the birds – the Fat Balls, otherwise known as Garden Dumplings. The footage compilation of the birds feeding on the fat ball is included and presented with its original audio for better viewing experience.
Birdwatching have been scientifically proven to have multiple health benefits. For example, research by academics at the University of Exeter, the University of Queensland and the British Trust for Ornithology found that the more birds, shrubs and trees you see in a day, the less likely you are to suffer from depression, anxiety and stress.
