Smiley Vixen Defends Her Den from Intruding Fox
Not too long after the Smiley Vixen made her new home beside the sett of the injured badger, she was attacked by an intruding Red Fox (Vulpes Vulpes). The intruder was larger and stronger than her, but the Smiley Vixen was not caving in to his assault and bravely defended her underground fortress.
The intruding fox was truly vicious in his attacks, which showed how foxes, despite being smaller and cuter than wolves, can still be aggressive and mean.
When all was set and done, the Smiley Vixen came out of the assault victorious. She successfully defended her den and stayed in it as the queen of her castle. The whole thing was captured on my trail cameras. Go Smiley Vixen!
