Hi guys! For this blog, I will share a battle using a card from the chaos edition which is one of my favorite cards from the earth unit.

They say there is nothing more beautiful than a Regal Peryton. They prefer to live in the mountains all across the Splinterlands, rarely seen by others. When they soar through the skies, the sunlight catches through their wings and creates rainbows underneath them. Regal Perytons are highly intelligent and consider themselves noble guardians of the natural world, using their magic to help others.

CARD STATISTICS

Regal Peryton is a card from the chaos legion with 5 mana. It has the magic attack and flying ability and a high speed of 7 at maximum level. This card is suitable to use during battles with earthquake rule.

THE RULESET

The battle's mana cap is 15 and all elements are active except life. Earthquake is the rule in this battle where non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.

MY LINE UP

I only used three monsters in this battle since the mana cap required is only 15. First in line is Mycelic Morphoid, it has thorns ability which gives back damage to the melee attacker. Next is Void Dragon with Flying and Void ability. It reduces damage from all attacks and has 5 speed at level 2. Third position is Regal Peryton which has also Flying ability and high speed of 6 at level 4. Both Void Dragon and Legal Peryton's attack is magic.

THE WINNER

The idea with this battles ruleset is to position monsters with Flying or Heal, but if you can't find any, choose monsters with high HP and high damage instead. Don't keep your healers in the front. The function of shield is crucial. When Earthquake has sufficiently damaged both sides, place monsters with Flying in the remaining spots.

Since the battle rule is earthquake combined with 15 mana cap only, I used monsters that will counter the rule. I positioned monsters with flying ability and with high HP like Void Dragon and Regal Peryton.

Indeed, Regal Peryton having 3 magic damage, high hp and high speed plus its flying ability, did a great job in this battle.
