And occasionally some live music when a few people get together with guitars or something. And in the west, especially in the US, jukeboxes were very fashionable. It pays off for the pub owner not to have to pay any royalties and deal with anything and people throw money at it to play their song. Here in the Czech Republic it was also quite successful I think in the 90s there were a lot of them but today I haven't seen a jukebox for years. Anyway, there are steampunk jukeboxes here.
