Hi from spoonie!

Hello everyone from a fellow spoonie!
I am based in NSW Australia… there are a few things that make me a spoonie.
Firstly, i suffer from a rare one in a million genetic syndrome, called tricho-hepato-enteric syndrome. This was caused by me having a faulty gene from each of my parents. It affects my stomach the most, and when in a flare now… think of the worst stomach bug/bout of gastroenteritis you have ever had, then times your symptoms by 10. I am obe of the lucky ones where it does not affect my liver and my latest tests show my immune system is fine, dispits being in a flare.
I alsl suffer from mild asthma, and have well-controlled mental health issues.

Are there any orher groups/topics/communities around chronic illness on here i can join? I am very new to all this.

My business of selling knit and crochet items with reiki was partly also inspired by my genetic syndrome as it promotes healing.
