Reflection Hunters Contest- Round 246 / The Beautiful Glorieta of Manzanillo

Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Park marks the main area of the city of Manzanillo. This is where the Morisca Glorieta (Moorish-style central pavilion) is located, a symbol and a source of pride for the inhabitants of the region, which enjoyed a glorious past. My sunglasses have given me this reflection.

This architectural jewel is a silent witness to the passage of time. But the locals have been committed to preserving its values so that it endures with the beauty and harmony with which it was built by their ancestors.

The city of Manzanillo lies facing the Gulf of Guacanayabo, on the southern coast of Cuba. Its historic center blends a symbiosis of art and culture, the result of a prosperous past from decades ago.
