La partida que hoy muestro, fue protagonizada por Philidor quien fue precursor de las ideas de desarrollo en la apertura italiana, la cual dominó la mayoría de las partidas durante gran parte del siglo XVII, debo decir que, aunque hay más desarrollo de piezas, también es cierto que ambos jugadores hacían trizas su respectiva línea de peones, dejando a un lado su importancia en el medio juego de la partida.
