A Buried Treasure

She found her childhood dream buried in the sand. Many years ago, when she was a child, on a trip to the beach with her family, she buried a treasure, a cherished object from her childhood.

But being a child, she easily lost track of the place. However, many years later, when she was a teenager, she returned to that same beach and, by chance, while helping her younger sister build a sandcastle, she dug a little with her hands and found her old buried treasure: her lucky charm.

Upon seeing it, she recognized it easily; the salt water and sand had taken their toll on its design, and it had lost its color over time.
