The hope

I was having anxiety on this day. Last night, we had a misunderstanding with my husband that led to a sleepless night. As I had risen in the morning 'though I haven't slept, I still need to be ready for work. I got children to feed.

Our upcoming high school day is fast approaching and I'm a little bit stressed because I will be the lady of the ceremony for the highlight of the program. This is one of the biggest events that will happen to our school. Side-to-side preparations were done. What happened last night made my brain empty and not work religiously.

The course of action

I need to be distressed for tomorrow's big event. I volunteered to buy all the stuff needed at Bogo, City. This can be an exit from my heavy emotions.

Going out with my colleagues helped me overcome the wearies I felt. A chit-chat while on our journey can be fun, and the green sceneries of the surroundings are beneficial.

We reached our destination. At the back part of the dry market where we bought the needed things for our 5k color fun run, was the reclamation area of Bogo. I tried to walk there for the first so I can take photos how does it look like.

At first, I never appreciated the open field due to the trash scattered around. From a distance, I have seen the sea and heard the splashing of the waves. I never doubted moving forward so I can feel the breeze and be relaxed.

These what welcomed me, the mangrove being hooked to the seawall. The area is not that inviting but the fresh air soothed my inner peace. I was having fun at the same time worried about seeing these human activities that slowly ruined the beauty of nature.

We only have 4 hours for the errand entrusted to us. I forgot that I haven't eaten my lunch and we decided to buy Chinese Siopao and milk tea. We went to one of the famous cafés in the city "The Artea".

I ordered wintermelon to be paired with my Chinese siopao.

The ambiance of the place is pretty inviting. Beautiful native huts are captivating and make the area more splendid. I was having fun taking my best pose before eating my orders.

I have seen customers eating "tuslob buwa" (pork liver and brain, sautéed with spices, cooked in a few minutes). They have eaten this kind of food with full of satisfaction..

The time runs fast.It was late in the afternoon already and we needed to be back to school. Since I still need more sea breeze to be refreshed, I asked my co-teacher to have a quick escapade at Bogo's port area, and so he de did it.

The day was full of fun 'though it was a little bit tiring. As we headed our way, I was able to capture the beauty of the sun as it is about to set down.

Self awareness

If fear roadblocks my life’s way, I will be stunted temporarily but for sure this cannot defeat my self-esteem. I can say it was a great day for me because I still have the courage in conquering with all the heavy burdens I have been into. Praise God to the highest.
