Coronation

Today is Wednesday and so my post for #wednesdayyellow is this picture I took earlier this week in Tesco of all places of a tribute to the new King of Thailand, King Rama X.

Over two years after the passing of his father, he was finally crowned in a protracted and deeply traditional three day ceremony earlier this month.

Colour is so important in Thailand and the colour of royalty is yellow and so Thailand has been awash with people wearing yellow shirts and buildings and even websites adorned with tributes and best wishes to the new King and all washed in slightly varying shades of bright yellow.

Thailand, if nothing, is always so bright and colourful!

This is also my first post using @esteemapp surfer which was a bit of a faff to set up and get my head around when I fired it up, is looking great.

Why I had to go to 'github' the domain of the intelligent and geeky devs is beyond me, website; download here button; install; would have been much simpler. If it were 'miserable old git hub' I would have felt right at home!

Anyway, here is the photo, taken by me and we wish the new King of Thailand best wishes and good health for a long reign.
