A pesar del mal juego, el Liverpool puso en peligro el liderato del Arsenal; por momentos recuperó la memoria y con eso le bastó para empatar el juego en dos oportunidades, pero lamentablemente el equipo regreso a ser nuevamente algo irreconocible; la actitud y las ganas de competir se fueron diluyendo mientras se acercaba el final, este equipo fue dominando por otro que jugó mucho mejor y que tuvo dos desatenciones que le costaron dos goles, pero de ahí no hubo nada más; jugadores como Hernderson y Thiago Alcántara no dieron profundidad, control y distribución a sus compañeros; la perdida de Alexander-Arnold y Luis Díaz por lesión fue un duro golpe para enfrentar el segundo tiempo y es que este equipo se ha vuelto normal, sus jugadores son normales y como dije, a pesar de eso pudo conseguir dos goles. Si puedo hacer una rápida comparación con el juego entre esos dos clubes, creo que puedo remontar a la época en dónde el Barcelona de Pep enfrentó al Real Madrid de Mou, con esto no quiero que me malinterpreten por las comparaciones, sino que el juego físico, brusco que practicó el Liverpool para frenar la circulación del balón, el control, la posesión y el ataque del Arsenal me hizo recordar esos tiempos; creo que es primera vez que he visto a un equipo dirigido por Klopp usar esas tácticas y estoy seguro de que eso es debido a que el arbitraje estuvo en manos de Michael Oliver, un árbitro que en mi opinión es muy malo y permisivo en el juego brusco; por ejemplo en este encuentro no sancionó dos penales a favor tanto del Liverpool cómo del Arsenal, uno ocurrió en el primer tiempo que pudo significar el empate de los Reds y el otro pudo dar tranquilidad a los locales defiendo el encuentro con un posible cuarto gol. Con esto creo que es evidente que este juego fue muy emocionante, ya que tuvo cinco goles, polémica, buen fútbol, grandes jugadas, sin ninguna duda fue un gran espectáculo que nos brindó nuevamente la Premier League en la lucha por el liderato.
