My response to the @Indiaunited Contest Theme- : "What Would You Do If You Won $1 Million Tomorrow?"

How I wish, I can win 1 million dollars. It is definitely a very big amount and can do many things and fulfills many goals of my life. Yes, I do have some big wishes which I can take care with this amount.

First of all I will separate out some amount for my Children NGO mission, and use it to get better and more resources for them. Even 10% amount will make a huge difference. I will not spend all at one go, but invest and create a fund from which I can get regular interest amount which I can use on regular basis.

Second I will remove at least 50% of the amount and save for my future. This is very important. It's a one time win so I will make sure to secure my future before spending. Having a good corpus for retirement age is important, given the economic turmoils we face no amount is enough. And to live a comfortable life, thos corpus will surely be very helpful for me.

After spending 60% of my win in these 2 areas. From the balance 40% I will keep 10% fund for my travels. I have a wish to travel to some big places which are expensive. So with this win, I can fulfill my wish.

After this whatever I am left with, of which I will spend around 50% of this amount to buy a house for my son. I may not be able to pay the full home money but this budget will probably help me pay 60 to 70% for him, then balance he can manage. But this help will reduce his financial burden.

The balance money whatever I have I will spend part of it on buying precious metals like Gold. This is also one form of investment and will be useful for me for my future.

Some amount of money I will use on my home renovation. A little amount I will keep to spend on a few things that I can just leasure splurge on. After all of this, if there's anything remaining I will add it up in the retirement fund corpus.

This is how I intend to use my 1 million dollars that I will win. As I said it's huge money and I can do many things with it. Especially if I convert it in Indian Rupees it is a very big amount.
