My response to the @Indiaunited Contest - Theme-:"What Keeps You Here on Hive?"

It's been almost 8 years on Hive so it's very apt for me to answer this question.
What keeps me here on Hive?
There are couple of things that keep me hooked to Hive.

Hive came into my life when I was jobless and struggling to find something that would keep me occupied, make me feel good about doing it and give me financial freedom. The journey started and I felt good vibes with it. I dedicated a lot of my time on it; I was getting paid and most importantly I was enjoying writing. I have always been fond of writing and before my Hive journey began, I was writing on other forums, but they did not pay anything.

The three main reasons for me still being on Hive remains the same.

• Fulfills my passion of writing - I enjoy writing, expressing my views, sharing my travel stories and adventures. I do not want to stop it, because it's like a hobby to me. And to be honest there are times when it becomes difficult to cope up but I still manage to do it because I know once I give a loose hand to it I will become careless about it.

• Gives me income- To be honest, yes, I do consider this income very important for me. Though I have not withdrawn much of it. I am saving up and building up on my retirement fund. Over the years,s Hive value has been going down which has also been a concern on steady income but then I believe that in long run it will give me good returns, so with patience I want to continue this journey.

• A steady job - Hive is definitely a job for me, a steady one which I can rely on. I am my own boss here, it work from home at my convenience so I do not wish to give it up.

These are my main reasons that keep me here on Hive and I am sure my journey will keep going on for many more years.
