For me every Sundays always start with a peaceful Fajr prayer, but today was extra special as I headed straight to the cricket ground for a Cricket match. I left playing Cricket in early 2023 and started again few months ago..

What I found?

On the way over I spotted some beautiful flowers that just made my day where I made sure to snap a few photos to share with you all.

When we arrived at the ground our captain won the toss and decided to bowl first. Things started off well but we leaked a bit too much steam in the middle overs allowing the other team to put up a massive 256 runs on the board.

Chasing that kind of total was a mountain to climb, and the pressure was on right from the start. I managed to chip in with 13 runs off just 8 balls but the wickets kept tumbling at the other end and we were all out for around 172. Even though we lost we learned a lot from the experience and we're already looking forward to coming back stronger next time.
