[ESP-ENG] Adele - Leaving her heart in lyrics💖

Adele es una de mis cantantes favoritas desde hace unos años, no comencé a seguir su carrera desde el comienzo pero luego de escuchar una canción en particular hizo que quedará impresionada y enamorada de la voz de esta hermosa mujer, tan sensible y amorosa en cada una de sus canciones dando todo de si misma y dejando su corazón en letras que llegan al corazón.

Adele is one of my favorite singers since a few years ago, I didn't start following her career from the beginning but after listening to one song in particular made me impressed and in love with the voice of this beautiful woman, so sensitive and loving in each of her songs giving all of herself and leaving her heart in lyrics that touch the heart.

Siento que Adele y yo tenemos muchas cosas en común, bueno compartimos el mismo signo y mes de cumpleaños, somos Tauro. Y algo que caracteriza a este signo es que solemos ser personas tercas jaja, pero buenas de corazón y muy sensibles. Creo que por esta razón empatizo tanto con ella, con su historia y con el arte que son sus canciones.

I feel that Adele and I have a lot of things in common, well we share the same sign and birthday month, we are Taurus. And something that characterizes this sign is that we tend to be stubborn people haha, but good at heart and very sensitive. I think for this reason I empathize so much with her, with her story and with the art that are her songs.

Recuerdo que la primera canción que escuche fue Rolling in the deep y no llamo mi atención tal vez porque en ese momento estaba en otra fase de estilo de música y no preste tampoco atención a la letra. La segunda canción que escuche fue Someone like you, muy famosa también, esa si captó mi atención y recuerdo que Adele empezó a crecer como compositora y cantante en ese momento y le llegó la fama.

I remember that the first song I listened to was Rolling in the deep and it didn't catch my attention maybe because at that time I was in another phase of music style and I didn't pay attention to the lyrics either. The second song I listened to was Someone like you, also very famous, that one caught my attention and I remember that Adele started to grow as a composer and singer at that time and fame came to her.

A mí siempre me han gustado las canciones de amor y cuando por fin le di la atención que merecía fue al escuchar One and Only en un vídeo de una figura pública que lo compartió. Dios, no puedo ni explicar cuántas veces he escuchado esa canción, es espectacular. La manera en la que describe como la persona que ella quiere, que está metida en su cabeza y los miedos que ella siente para dar el paso a un acercamiento y comenzar una relación es hermosa. Creo que de todas las canciones que me se en inglés está me la sé completa jajaja 🤣, es que es muy bonita y creo que es difícil dedicarsela a alguien porque es demasiado especial.

I've always loved love songs and when I finally gave it the attention it deserved was when I heard One and Only in a video of a public figure who shared it. God, I can't even explain how many times I've listened to that song, it's spectacular. The way it describes how the person she wants, that is stuck in her head and the fears she feels to step up to a closer and start a relationship is beautiful. I think out of all the songs I know in English this one I know the whole thing hahaha 🤣, it's just so beautiful and I think it's hard to dedicate it to someone because it's too special.

Después me enganche con All I ask y When we were young en su álbum 25, las cantaba todo el tiempo porque me hacía sentir muy alegre escucharla y esas dos canciones tienen unas joyas de letras. Luego con el pasar del tiempo escuché de casualidad Love in the dark y bueno llore tengo que admitirlo, es demasiado triste lo que dice en esa canción y siento que todos nos sentimos identificados con esa en particular y no necesariamente tiene que ser por una relación de pareja dónde decimos ya no te puedo amar más, sino en una relación de amistad o familiar donde es casi imposible seguir manteniendo el vínculo.

Then I got hooked with All I ask and When we were young in her album 25, I sang them all the time because it made me feel so happy to listen to her and those two songs have such beautiful lyrics. Then as time went by I heard by chance Love in the dark and well I cried I have to admit it, it is too sad what she says in that song and I feel that we all feel identified with that particular song and it does not necessarily have to be for a couple relationship where we say I can't love you anymore, but in a friendship or family relationship where it is almost impossible to continue maintaining the bond.

No puedo dejar de mencionar a Million Years Ago, también llore y está vez más, me sentí demasiado identificada con lo que dice la canción. Sobre cómo las cosas cambian y te vuelves una desconocida para las personas que solías conocer. Es duro escucharla cantar esa canción, me siento indefensa y un poco como lo que ella dice sobre que quisiera poder mirar el cielo y no solo el suelo. Duele bastante pero aún así es una de mis favoritas.

I can't fail to mention Million Years Ago, I also cried and this time more, I felt too identified with what the song says. About how things change and you become a stranger to the people you used to know. It's hard to hear her sing that song, I feel helpless and a bit like what she says about wishing I could look at the sky and not just the ground. It hurts quite a bit but it's still one of my favorites.

Y cuando llegó su álbum 30 la primera canción que escuche fue I drink wine, me dió curiosidad saber que diría y bueno me dejó fascinada, es una canción demasiado de ella, con esta canción te cuestionas tantas cosas de la vida y la forma en que algunas veces vivimos para complacer a los demás y no tanto a nosotros mismos. El vídeo es perfecto lo ví hace poco y Adele luce hermosa con una actitud de mujer empoderada y me encantó mucho, está bien elaborado, mi parte favorita es cuando ella dice que quiere superarse a si misma y parar de tratar de ser alguien que no es.

And when her album 30 arrived the first song I listened to was I drink wine, I was curious to know what she would say and well it left me fascinated, it is a song too much of her, with this song you question so many things in life and the way we sometimes live to please others and not so much to please ourselves. The video is perfect I saw it recently and Adele looks beautiful with an empowered woman attitude and I loved it, it is well elaborated, my favorite part is when she says she wants to overcome herself and stop trying to be someone she is not.

Hay muchas más canciones de Adele que me gustan pero estás que escribí son de mis preferidas. Creo que Adele al comienzo de su carrera se sentía insegura como muchos cantantes, pero su talento y su poder para conquistar los corazones de sus fans hizo que lograra llegar a lo que es en este momento, una de las artistas más escuchadas y queridas por el público y lo tiene bien merecido.

There are many more Adele songs that I like but these are some of my favorites. I think Adele at the beginning of her career felt insecure like many singers, but her talent and her power to conquer the hearts of her fans made her reach what she is at the moment, one of the most listened and loved artists by the public and she has it well deserved.

Siento que las canciones de Adele son como mi diario personal, son demasiadas cosas las que me hacen sentir vinculada a ella y aunque no haya pasado por todas las cosas que ella nos cuenta en sus canciones puedo decir que es una de mis cantantes favoritas, por su humildad y el gran ser humano que es, además de ser muy buena con sus fans y tener un gran sentido del humor.

I feel that Adele's songs are like my personal diary, there are too many things that make me feel linked to her and although I have not gone through all the things she tells us in her songs I can say that she is one of my favorite singers, because of her humility and the great human being she is, besides being very good with her fans and having a great sense of humor.

Me alegra mucho vivir en el mismo momento en que ella se arriesgo y logro sus sueños, poder escuchar sus canciones y recordarme que puedo refugiarme en sus canciones cada vez que me sienta de poco ánimo. Es una persona que me inspira a seguir mis sueños y a no detenerme. Cuántas cosas no podría decir de ella, la amo demasiado. No puedo esperar a escuchar los próximos álbumes que vendrán en el futuro.

I am so happy to live at the same time she took a risk and achieved her dreams, to be able to listen to her songs and remind me that I can take refuge in her songs every time I feel down. She is a person who inspires me to follow my dreams and not to stop. How many things could I not say about her, I love her too much. I can't wait to listen to the next albums coming in the future.
