The Draining Rage
The villagers could not hold their anger anymore, it has been days since the horrible news came but the King has not done anything about it. Just last night, the people of Aruba again attacked the people coming back from the market, slitting the throat of the young men like angry hyenas on a prey, the women like cavemen unleashed and yet the king is silent.
The village of Adura was thrown into chaos, it was no longer safe to go to the farms,let alone walk at night. The whole village was in a frenzy, infact, some villagers rumored that the king himself was scared of the Aruba people that is why he has not taken any action.
It is dawn,and the angry youth and elders of Adura have assembled in the palace to the calling of the king. The king soon arrived,the royal jester pronounced his present and everyone bowed till the king took his seat.
I greet you my noble tribesmen,the king started. All possible ways to resolve this conflict between our village and Abura has rather proven abortive, given the case,I am rather disappointed that their king could not summon the courage to settle whatever dispute we have but instead he chose violence. I am unaware why we are been attacked,even the delegated elders have been constrained in Abura, so we cannot sit back and do nothing. We have to fight back... The king said in anger.
