I noticed that a local grocery store had an ad for 2/$4 for a pound of bacon. I went down there and the bacon was uncured and nitrate free which I think may be more healthy. I have read reports that nitrates cause cancer. Anyways my BLT sandwich turned out very well. :) I used the bread from my lottery winnings. lol
