Beach Day! With Cows!
I feel blessed to live in a paradise like this. I'm no further than seventy kms from the ocean no matter where I am on the Island..... AND there is a strong local food movement whereby I can go fill up a jug of fresh milk from the local dairy...
So since the Beach and dairy are only about a forty minute drive away, it stands to good reason to make a day trip of it.
The dairy, Qualicum Cheeseworks is it's name, also carries some local egg and meat producer products so it's an important grocery stop for our family.
Is all we have to say to get the little ones to get ready to leave the beach.
What a blessed life.
