California Bans Torturing Whales!
I'm so proud of the sunny state. CA passed laws that not only banned the use of killer whales shows but also captive breeding of Orcas. Research exceptions are allowed. Thank you Blackfish, for bringing our attention to a heinous practice. SeaWorld San Diego had already ceased these practices in March.
Note that countries in India have long recognized that non-human mammals have a greater capacity for suffering and banned SeaWorld-type animal shows. These mammals have special protection under the law.
