Spring?! Beautiful plum blossoms!

Though it is only the very end of January, I happen to know of a few plum trees that are already blooming!

This pink flowering tree has just started, most of the buds are still buds with a few fully opened blossoms. I think it looks wonderful and really encapsulates the feeling of potential and hope that spring brings.

Hmm I've just noticed that these photos all have the branch riding from the bottom right to the left, with the flower in the bottom right too! Something to keep in mind next time I go out to the park!

There was also an even earlier blooming plum tree, this one was white and in full bloom!

It looked great when illuminated from behind!
