Talent Tuesday : Clear On The Surface But Dark Deep Within(it's all a mask)

On the surface
I look calm and ready
But deep within it all bruise
Bruises from past harm that still breathe tragedy

But I'm presently on the scene
Looking armed and ready
But behind the scenes, my knees are aching
My fans forsake me and my fears leave a message that my heart is hurting while no one is watching

Now I'm on the run
I look fit and furry
my veins pump faster now
But I'll have to endure the rush

I'm in a rush but I look relaxed and unarmed
Nothing feels like this
But many feel like this
And all humans are like this
All calm but hurting with nowhere to run to and nowhere to act the scenes of reality

But behind the facade, we would always find solace and calm.
We are all scared but still mask it on the scene, to cry behind the scenes

I wish I could change the past to stop the hurt but then nothing teaches a man like a past to draw from
And pains to heal from

I heal my past and won't rush into the future for I hold my present accountable
For today we become transformed and liberated by unmasking the masked.

I'm strong but sometimes I'm not
I guess I'm only human
