Soon shelters will not only be in Belgorod

Mobile shelters of modular type may appear in Russia to protect the population from the impact of all types of modern weapons, including nuclear weapons, taking into account the experience of a special military operation - the relevant draft government decree has been published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

"The creation of civil defense facilities is carried out by... erection of facilities using fully prefabricated structures and constructions, including block-modular type or other materials," the document says.

The explanatory note to the draft decree notes that the available protective structures of civil defense are not enough to shelter the entire population, and many buried premises and underground structures are technically impossible to adapt for these purposes.
