Mary Jane
Roll on over to me
I'm in pain
Come set me free

Just for the moment
Clear my chest
Beautiful and potent
Space dyed vest

Huff and puff
Oh my poor little dove
Life can sure be tough
Winds push and shove

Come let's adore
The wayward sky calls
I want to see more
Dance with me at the balls

Honey, can't you see this pedigree
Trace us back into the mellow
Fine lines rest upon thee
The deep ocean is shallow

But, ah, Lass
Upon the open field
Drifting through the grass
Straining through the shield

Eventually
We all must face the fire
Spontaneously
Self righteous desire

Face the end of days
Feel it take over
The last of the sun's rays
The return of the lover

Against the grain
Lost in melancholy
Escaping the train
Derailed into folly

The repeating cycle of delusion
Unavoidable circumstance
Facing the conclusion
Stillness is the dance

Observe the lines of despair
Embracing deserted springs
Heat rising through the air
Cooling down our wings
