WHAT IS THE PROMO-STEEM GUILD?
The purpose of the #promo-steem guild is simply to reward high quality promotional, educational and humanitarian work on the STEEM blockchain.

With a vibrant and large active community of individuals, all who share the same vision of increasing awareness and adoption of the STEEM blockchain, #promo-steem aims to reward those who engage in voluntaryist work that brings new users and investors to the platform.

HOW DO I USE IT?
Any user on the STEEM blockchain can post to the #promo-steem tag, however only high quality work which proves an activity relating to promotion, education or humanitarian initiatives are likely to be curated positively by the Steem Ambassadors.

Only by receiving a minimum number of upvotes from Steem Ambassadors will content creators be rewarded by the guild. This encourages users to add value to the blockchain with their work.

HOW IT WORKS

Steem Ambassadors have voting rights on the promo-steem voting guild. Should any 3 of these Ambassadors vote for the same promo-steem tagged blog a % of the guild’s vote shall be placed on said blog along with any trailing up votes from our trailing bot. These blogs shall then be featured on the promo-steem website home page with options to sort by trending or by newest.

This upvoting method shall result in a community voting system in which steem rewards are distributed based on upvotes from several members of the community rather than one corruptible gatekeeper.

POST YOUR PROMO-STEEM CONTENT
We encourage everyone who is engaged in promotional activity to post using the #promo-steem tag. Activities which are deemed by the Steem Ambassadors to be of high quality will receive upvotes from the central @steem-ambassador account. This process is automated using our multi-proof-of-brain CAMPUS system, designed by @anarcotech and @themeanbean.

JOIN THE CURATORS TRAIL
Steemians can also support promotional work by joining the promo-steem trailing bot which will trail and automatically upvoting when @steem-ambassador upvotes (based on the curation of the Steem Ambassadors)

DELEGATE TO PROMO-STEEM
Individuals who delegate to the Promo-Steem guild earn a dividend from the curation rewards earned. You do not need to be involved actively to support this initiative.

By delegating, you increase the payout value to authors who have created high quality posts, as determined by the Steem Ambassadors.
