Who are we? How do we live? / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, friends of the #blackandwhite community—how are you all doing? For this post, I wanted to share a selection of some photos I took over the weekend. I actually took a lot of them, but during the editing process, I only kept the ones that answer the questions: Who are we? How do we live?

Saludos, amigos de la comunidad #blackandwhite, ¿cómo les va? Para esta ocasión, he querido traer una selección de algunas imágenes que hice el fin de semana. En realidad hice muchas, pero en el proceso de edición solo me quedo con aquellas que responden a las preguntas: ¿qué somos? ¿Cómo vivimos?

The city just wraps itself around you, and before you know it, you're hooked on exploring it and telling the stories of its inhabitants through photos.

Y es que la ciudad te va envolviendo y, antes de que te des cuenta, ya eres adicto a recorrerla y a contar con fotos las historias de sus habitantes.

As the avid observer that I am, I don't let any details or shapes slip by—not even the tiniest element that screams at me or whispers as I pass by.

Como observador empedernido que soy, no dejo pasar detalles ni formas, ni siquiera el más mínimo elemento que me habla a gritos o me susurra cuando paso.

Sometimes, my subconscious takes over, and when I snap back to reality, I realize I've taken a photo that breaks all the rules of composition—yet it still fills my heart; I'm still trying to figure out why.

A veces, el subconsciente toma el mando y, cuando reacciono, me doy cuenta de que he hecho una foto obviando todas las reglas de composición, pero aun así me llena el corazón; aún intento comprender por qué.

I have a long way to go; I'm barely scratching the surface. As I delve deeper into the city, treasures will emerge from its walls—I'll keep sharing the process with you along the way.

Me queda mucho por recorrer, apenas estoy arañando la superficie; a medida que me adentre más en la ciudad, irán saliendo tesoros de sus paredes, ya les iré mostrando el proceso.
