Mi debut en CDMX empezó con fe…😬

El mes de julio me tocó participar en un congreso en la CDMX. Como nunca habíamos visitado la capital del país, decidimos armar un itinerario para aprovechar al máximo y ver lo más posible de lugares en cuatro días, bueno, un poco menos, por las actividades del congreso. El primer lugar al que fuimos, debido a la cercanía de la casa de un amigo que nos pasó a recoger al aeropuerto, fue la Basílica de Guadalupe. Aunque yo no me considero actualmente un católico ferviente, mi esposa tenía muchas ganas de conocerla. El lugar es muy bonito en general, con la excepción de la fachada de la Basílica, que se nota que lleva unos añitos sin una buena remodelación; por dentro, en cambio, está impecable. Hay varios sitios interesantes alrededor, solo que hay que subir demasiados escalones, sin embargo vale la pena. Les comparto algunas fotitos que nos tomamos por ahí.

In July, I got to participate in a conference in Mexico City. Since we had never visited the country's capital, we decided to put together an itinerary to make the most of it and see as much as possible in four days—well, a little less, due to the conference activities. The first place we went, thanks to its proximity to a friend's house who picked us up at the airport, was the Basilica of Guadalupe. Although I don't currently consider myself a fervent Catholic, my wife was very eager to see it. The place is beautiful in general, with the exception of the Basilica's facade, which looks like it hasn't had a good renovation in a few years; inside, however, it's impeccable. There are several interesting spots around, although you have to climb quite a few stairs. I'm sharing a few photos we took there.
