Earlier today I passed a message posted in a restaurant. It went like this:
It is often believed that numbers make more sense than words. But if we were to assign a number to every letter then we come to some strange truths in our language. With hardwork, you'll only get so far.H - A - R - D - W - O - R - K
8 + 1 + 18+4 + 23+15+18+11=98
With the right attitude you'll be right there.
A - T - T - I - T - U - D - E
1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5=100
But unfortunately, ass-kissing is what gets you further. Go figure.
A - S - S - K - I - S - S - E - R
1+19+19+11+9+19+19+5+18=120
So how many asses have you kissed to get ahead in life.
