How Is The Hepatitis A Vaccine Helpful?
Hepatitis A is a highly contagious viral infection that affects the liver, leading to symptoms ranging from mild discomfort to severe illness. The hepatitis A virus (HAV) spreads primarily through the ingestion of contaminated food or water, as well as close contact with infected individuals. Unlike some other forms of hepatitis, hepatitis A does not cause chronic liver disease.
