Wrong Memories...
False memories, what it is? Memories that we reconstruct over time as per our perspective change can be called false memory. Let's make it simple. We sometimes made up something on our mind which actually never happen. We sometimes recall somethings from our childhood which is not a real scenario. Our brain made this as per our present belief and what we want to see. This may sound a little complicated but it's a very common phenomenon. We all have this but most of us don't know that those are not real.
So, why I'm saying that we can get benefits from false memories? Just think about how powerful our brain is and how it can construct anything. We sometimes can even decide what we gonna see during our dream. Yeah, these things need a lot of practice, deep understanding, and learning; also we have to make proper connections with our brain to do that. But this is not impossible. But researchers are saying that we can control our minds. And thus we can get the juice from our false memories.
We all have some sort of trauma, fear, and uncomfortable memories. I came to realize that our brain has the power to reconstruct those memories. You can see how our brain hides or make it different things over time to make us feel comfortable. We forget about some abuse, we forget the face of our molester and so on. So, if we can practice saying to our brain to make those memories into a good one, it's totally possible. But it needs lots of practice as I have said earlier. We need to create something pleasant in our minds about our trauma, which we need to think repeatedly. And, thus it's gonna create a permanent effect on our mind.
This is not a thing that will help to forget our trauma but we can reconstruct something else. And this is the way we can make memories which is something more comfortable and believable.
