How to Eat Star Fruit | Taste Test
Hello DTube and Steemians!
In this episode of In the Kitchen with Matt, I will show you how to cut and eat a Star Fruit or Carambola and I will do a little taste test as well. Star fruits are pretty awesome and can be found natively in places like Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. They can, of course, be planted and grown successfully elsewhere. Fun fact, Star Fruit trees can be grown here in Arizona. There are a few nurseries that specialize in tropical plants that sell them. As long as you take care of them they will thrive here. Texas and Florida are other great places to grow them. They can be eaten as is or used in a number of dishes.
Thanks for watching!
