Inter-school teakwondo competition, day one acupuncture lectures.

It has come to the end of the year, and different activities will be going on in school. Here is a three-day program for all schools in my state. It is called an inter-school teakwondo competition. The program was shifted to this moment purposefully because of one or two things. It should have been done before now.

I'm part of the coordinator team since I'm a school coach too. The three-day program goes thus: The first day is for the registration of different schools. At least we have more than eight schools that have already registered. Also, on the first day, there is what we called grading. So what is grading? This is just like promoting from one class to another, and things that are done in grading are what have been taught so far. So grading a student in taekwondo means an examination for promotion to another belt. We have different categories of belts: white, yellow, blue, brown, red, and black. It is good to know that there are still different types of black.

On the second day of the exhibition, athletes will beat each other and fight for positions: first, second, and third, and of course there's a fourth position too.
But today, they only did a few things; they had lectures from a doctor. And this doctor explains the use of acupuncture to everyone. He also explains why we need to take care of ourselves when we are tired. He moves forward by saying that acupuncture is good for athletes and that it's improving their performance in all ways. He gave some examples by healing someone who has been battling with injuries for a very long time now.

After some hours of talking, those that needed to be graded in another class came out and did their performance. It was so beautiful that everyone got carried away while they were performing. They must have been practicing for a very long time now.
We are yet to know their scores, but looking at what they did today, I'm confident in them that it will be a beautiful score.

After that, they did some performances for us by doing some demonstrations. We end the program late in the night. They must have been preparing for tomorrow because the event of tomorrow is what so many people want to see: how good you can fight, and so on. Well, I'm so confident in my school and my students.
