OSB: So is there an RChain currency already?

CT: At the moment we have RHOC, which is an Ethereum token. We will have a coin called REV. We’re currently building the infrastructure which will have a directory of wallet holders. When the Ethereum chain reaches a certain block height, this will be the point where we will take a snapshot of RHOC to flip into REV. Then there will be a period of oversight, where users can check and make sure the correct total is there. This is the most common way projects launch from Ethereum.

Currently, RChain’s RHOC is used as a placeholder for REV. When we switch to RChain, users will also be able to use REV to pay for phlogiston (like Ethereum’s gas) in the way you use ETH to pay for Gas on Ethereum.
