IN YOUR OPINION WHAT ARE THE BEST WAYS TO KEEP YOUR KEYS SAFE?
The hive keys are essential and it is very important for us to guide them with care. They are like our ATM pin or password which are to be kept safe. But with how large the hive keys are, I would advise that they must be kept online like in the Gmail draft, google drive or on your phone notepad. Also offline by handwriting the keys (not minding how large they are) on a note and be kept with your important documents like certificates.

HOW DO YOU CHECK YOUR RECOVERY ACCOUNT?
A recovery account is needed when someone tamper with your account and to have your account back you need a trustee.
Who is a trustee? It's an account (a community or person) that has been attached to your account by the blockchain, therefore with your trustee intact your lost account can be recovered.

STEPS NEEDED TO RECOVER AN ACCOUNT?

Step 1: Go to your peakd page and click on the dotted box beside setting.

Then other options will pop up, click on keys and permission

Step 2: You will see Recovery account, click on it.

All information on understanding recovery will be seen.

Then it will bring out your trustee that is your recovery account holder. There are two ways in which you can recover your account, it's either you click on change recovery account which is the blue or change with hivesigner
which is the purple link.

WHOM DID YOU CHOOSE AS YOUR ACCOUNT TRUSTEE AND WHY?
A trustee is someone you can trust with your keys and someone that's accessible to you. By default we all have a trustee, but if you wish to change it to another person you can.
As you can see my trustee is Hive account@ocdb which was given to me by the hive blockchain

VARIOUS TYPES OF KEYS AND THEIR USES
There are 5 types of keys on the hive blockchain:

• Memo key

It's the least used key, it is used to add memo message to a transaction and also to view and send private chat to a person on the hive blockchain.

• Master key

This key is use to recover other keys when you lose them. It's advisible to secure your keys very well.

• Active key

This key can be use for hive power up and down, voting witnesses and transferring of funds

• Posting key

This key is use for social activities like to comment, reblog, upvote, follow account or mute account.

• Owner key

This key can be use to reset your other keys, change password and recover your account. It is the most powerful key and it is very important you secure it very well.
