Bougainville in pots
Live painted this yesterday as part of my classes. This is my first one i painted from live instead of photo reference outside.
I had painted couple of painting before, still life, but they were indoors and the light was set.
Here I started to paint at 2 30 pm and by the time sketch was done it was 2:45 .. and by 3:30 I finished painting just the pots and flowers.

By this time the light changed and the shadows moved around and I hadn't prepared for that 😖
Although I had sketched shadows I didn't have the luxury to go back and pick few details from it... And the shadows lack the contrast of that in a picture when you see it in real
Finally managed to finish it off at about 4:30 pm
