Newborn Photography

The genre of newborn photography concentrates on photographing newborn babies. It is the only type of photography in which the photographer's primary concern must be the subject's safety. Safety is crucial.

The good news is that you'll have parents to help you hold and pose the infant. They have the ability to make them chuckle as well as lull them back to sleep.

This isn't to say you shouldn't get certain tools to aid the process.
