Don't underestimate nature [ENG/ESP]

We should never underestimate natural disasters because we don't really know the magnitude they can cause. I mention this because I saw several news reports that a tsunami was approaching, but many people sat near the beach waiting for it. They didn't realize that this could become a danger without them even knowing it. This may be due to how movies or TV shows portray it, but it really isn't.

Likewise, I didn't know about this until I watched the news because I imagined from the movies that this is how natural disasters originate, but it's not entirely true. They were commenting with scientific data that even if the tsunami doesn't reach the height many might think, it can actually be disastrous.

Several people commented in their videos that they were there to see what a tsunami was like because they had never seen one, but what surprised me was that there were people of all ages waiting to see this event. I was left thinking that even if they live in an area where tsunamis can occur, they should promote greater awareness of what they are doing; it is exposing them to a danger they themselves haven't realized.

For each part of the world you're from, it's important to understand the different types of disasters to which we are most exposed, even though their frequency may be low. We must be prepared.

Throughout my life, I've experienced earthquakes of varying magnitude, but I experienced one in particular that was critical, and I lost the home I was living in due to its magnitude. It's something no one expected to happen. Some houses were destroyed and fractured, while others were saved.

But in many places, water and electricity were also left without power, and even food became scarce. Many activities were suspended, such as schools and work, among other things. We were also unprepared for the magnitude of the disaster, as we didn't have a radio to listen to what was happening. They reported on the situation and each of the impacts, hoping that no family member had suffered any harm.

Fortunately, my grandmother had a battery-powered radio and other things prepared, which helped us a lot so we wouldn't be completely disconnected. Despite the existence of telephones, communication ended up being cut off due to the collapse.

One of the things that happened most in my home was that it almost became a major danger because the stationary gas tank ruptured due to the earthquake. This had to be stopped quickly or it could lead to bigger problems. But the good thing is that a family member knows about these things and was able to stop the disaster in time, but doing so with great care for the structures.

I know it's very different living through it than telling it, but even if you can learn from someone who lived through it, or get that idea, although one of my relatives has already lived through two, albeit on different scales, the one my relative experienced was much more disastrous because many more things disappeared, a much bigger chaos than what I'm telling you about.

Because of this, one must be prepared for how to act and where to take shelter. I've always been told that wherever I go, I should be very observant, looking for possible safety spots in case of an earthquake. Although there's also an additional fear, for those who've heard about the San Andreas Fault, well, for me, since it's close to where that fault is.

There are places where they felt much more and others less due to the type of land there is, I say this because I live in constant changes of view of nature in a short time so to speak, from seeing a modern city and changing to places where there is a lot of nature, we must be preventive and careful no matter how much curiosity fills us, inform yourselves and take your precautions, even if it is the smallest or little by little you acquire it, it does not have to be immediately, but if you go

¡Oliwis, les saluda su nekito íncubo favorito!, verán mi modo de supervivencia con la poca vitalidad que obtengo o casi nada, participando en la dinámica con el tema: "Desastres Naturales".

Nunca hay que llegar a subestimar los desastres naturales debido a que no conocemos realmente la magnitud que puede causar, esto lo comento debido a que vi varias noticias en donde contaban que se acercaba un sunami, pero muchas personas se sentaron cerca de la playa para esperar al sunami el cual no vieron que esto se vuelve un peligro sin que ellos mismos sepan y puede que se deba a como nos lo pintan las películas o series, pero realmente no es así.

Igualmente, yo no sabía de esto hasta ver las noticias debido a que me imaginaba a través de las películas que así es como se originan los desastres naturales, pero realmente no es totalmente así, estaban comentando con datos científicos que a pesar que el sunami no alcance una altura alta como muchos pueden pensar realmente puede ser desastroso.

Varias personaban a través de sus videos comentaban que estaban ahí para ver cómo era un sunami porque nunca habían visto uno, pero lo que me sorprendió que había personas de todo tipo de edades esperando a ver este suceso, me quede pensando que a pesar de que vivan en una zona donde pueden surgir sunamis deberían fomentar más el conocimiento de lo que estás haciendo los está exponiendo a un peligro que ni ellos mismos se han dado cuenta.

Para cada parte de donde de donde es uno es importante ir conociendo los distintos tipos de desastre a los que estamos más expuestos a pesar de que su frecuencia pueda ser bajo, hay que estar prevenidos y preparados.

A lo largo de mi vida he vivido convivido con respecto a los temblores, los cuales han sido de distintos tipos de magnitudes, pero yo viví uno en particular donde fue crítico en el cual perdí el hogar en donde estaba viviendo debido a la magnitud, es algo que nadie se esperaba que sucediera, algunas casas destrozadas, fracturadas y otras que se salvaron.

Pero también en muchos lados se quedaron sin agua, electricidad que incluso los alimentos se volvieron escasos, muchas actividades se suspendieron como las escuelas, trabajos, entre otras cosas, pero tampoco estábamos preparados para tal magnitud debido a tener alguna radio para escuchar las cosas que estaban sucediendo porque ahí informaban como iba la situación y cada una de las afectaciones esperando que ningún familiar le haya sucedido algo.

Pero afortunadamente mi abuelita tenía un radio con pilas y otras cosas preparadas, el cual nos ayudó mucho para no estar totalmente desconectados a pesar de que existe los teléfonos se terminó cayendo la comunicación por el colapso.

Una de las cosas que más pasaron en mi hogar casi se su cita un peligro mayor debido a que se rompió el tanque de gas estacionario debido al temblor, se tenía que parar rápido esto o pudiera surgir a cosas mayores pero lo bueno que un familiar sabe de estas cosas y pudo para el desastre a tiempo, pero hacerlo con mucho cuidado por las estructuras.

Se que es muy diferente estar viviéndolo a contarlo, pero así puedan conocer atravesó de una persona que lo vivió como es o darse esa idea, aunque uno de mis familiares ya ha vivido dos, aunque con magnitudes distintas, el que mi familiar vivió fue mucho más desastroso debido a que desaparecieron muchas más cosas, todo un caos mucho mayor del que les estoy contando.

Debido a eso uno debe estar preparado a cómo actuar y a donde refugiarse para ir, siempre me han dicho que a donde vaya sea muy observador, viendo los puntos posibles de seguridad por si llegara a temblar, aunque también hay un temor más, para quienes han escuchado sobre la falla de san andres, bueno a mí que queda cerca de donde esta esa falla.

Hay lugares donde se sintieron mucho más y otros menos debido al tipo de tierra que hay, lo comento porque vivo en constantes cambios de vista de naturaleza a poco tiempo por así decirlo, desde ver una ciudad moderna y cambiar a lados donde hay mucha naturaleza, hay que ser preventivos y cuidados por más que nos llene la curiosidad, infórmense y tomen sus precauciones, así sea lo más minino o poco a poco lo vayan adquirieron, no tiene que ser de inmediato, pero si irlo haciendo.
