Fun at Cenote in the Jungle of Quintana Roo, Mexico
My sister is here for a visit, and yesterday we went on a very special trip.
A friend had invited us to come on a visit to a ranch in the jungle!
The owner of the ranch, Mauro, was born in the jungle, and his land doesn't
only have a lovely ranch, many trees, and a pond, but also a HUGE cenote inside
of a cave, as well as a open air cenote.
The video shows my kids (the first two are mine) jump from the
rocks and into the water. Lots of fun!!
I am going to write a few more posts about our visit there. It was quite
impressive to be there, because we also went into the cave, crouched
down like a crocodile to get through some of the passages, and
swam in a larger 'lake' inside of the cave,
All only armed with camera and flashlight.
