I love llamas, who doesn’t?
Although llamas and alpacas are often confused, they're actually quite different. Llamas are larger, with long faces, tall ears, and a more independent attitude — they were traditionally used as pack animals in the Andes. Alpacas are smaller, fluffier, and have short, blunt faces with big, soft eyes — prized for their luxurious wool. While llamas are curious and bold, alpacas are shy and gentle. So if you’re hugging a cloud of softness, it’s probably an alpaca… but if it’s staring at you like it’s judging your life choices, it’s definitely a llama.
