PRIVATE CENOTE EXPERIENCE IN TULUM
During my stay in Tulum, I had the chance to experience something truly magical — a hotel built around a natural cenote.
A cenote (pronounced seh-no-teh) is a natural freshwater sinkhole, formed when limestone bedrock collapses and exposes the underground rivers below. The ancient Mayans considered them sacred, believing they were portals to the underworld and sources of life. Today, cenotes are still full of mystery and beauty — crystal-clear waters surrounded by jungle, roots hanging from above, and a quiet energy that grounds you instantly.
Waking up just steps away from a cenote was a dream. I started my mornings with a swim in the cool, fresh water, feeling completely reset and connected with nature. It's not just a place to take a dip — it’s an experience that nourishes body and soul.
If you’re ever in Tulum, find a cenote… or better yet, stay in a place where you can live with one.
