Roatan Bitcoin Center
The Bitcoin Center Roatán, operated by AmityAge Academy, is the first Bitcoin education hub in Honduras, located in Pristine Bay. Its mission is to accelerate Bitcoin adoption through education and community-building.
Key activities:
• Bitcoin Education: Workshops and courses on wallets, transactions, and Bitcoin fundamentals.
• Bitcoin ATM: The only Bitcoin ATM in Roatán for buying and selling BTC.
• Themed Café: A place to enjoy Honduran coffee and meals, with Bitcoin payment options.
• Bitcoin Experience Tours: Guided visits to businesses that accept Bitcoin.
• Events & Networking: Hosting meetups like the "Bitcoin Roatán Retreat.”
The center collaborates with the local community and Próspera's special economic zone to promote Bitcoin adoption and financial education.
