Big Question – Is India’s Current Government Holding Power Illegitimately?

Something is churning in Indian politics — and it’s becoming serious.

A critical question is being raised: Is India’s current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, a legitimately elected PM?

This isn’t just social media noise — the allegation comes from none other than the Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, who [claims that his Congress Party has hard evidence of electoral malpractice](https://www.deccanherald.com/india/election-system-already-dead-in-country-2024-ls-poll-was-rigged-rahul-gandhi-3662444).

One [startling claim](https://www.deccanherald.com/india/election-system-already-dead-in-country-2024-ls-poll-was-rigged-rahul-gandhi-3662444): in just one Assembly Constituency in Bengaluru, the team allegedly found 1.5 lakh fake voters enrolled. More details are expected to be revealed on August 5th in Freedom Park, Bengaluru.

Listen to Rahul Gandhi’s full speech here -

Congress was able to investigate this because in Karnataka, they currently hold state-level power. Rahul Gandhi has also stated that the Election Commission of India is compromised, functioning more like an extension of the ruling BJP than a neutral institution.

He further suspects that 70–80 seats in the recent national election were won through fraud — essentially accusing the BJP of stealing the mandate.

He calls this an upcoming “atom bomb” — a full revelation is imminent.

So, if Rahul Gandhi proves these points, India could be facing a chilling reality: a Prime Minister who came to power without actually being elected by the people.

I will be following this space closely.

May the blessings of our forefathers, those who fought for India’s independence and shaped our Constitution, guide us now. I, too, cannot accept a government that lacks the people’s mandate — the only real power we hold in a democracy is our vote. Thank you for reading.
