We Have a Winner

Once again you guys have made it tough to choose one winner for MinnowFund's weekly delegation. There were some really great choices from this week's nominations. But after careful consideration we ultimately decided to choose... @big.ock! Congratulations @big.ock for winning our delegation and for sharing your unique (and often comical) views with the Steem blockchain.

We really appreciate your help in finding these incredible users on the blockchain. And we really appreciate @audreybits for nominating this week's winner, as well as @newageinv whose comments helped us to verify this user's credibility.

Who Is @big.ock?

@big.ock is a union carpenter who has worked many different jobs in many different fields such as hardwood floors, scaffold, drywall, metal studs, framing, concrete, ceilings, and the list goes on. He signed up for Steemit out of curiousity back in April of this year but it seems the community has kept him around.

There are many things that differentiate @big.ock from other users on the blockchain. But what really stood out to us is his unapologetic (and uncensored) approach to blogging. He's quite witty and he says things that most people think but don't publish for fear of flags/downvotes. We can really appreciate this. This is exactly what decentralization is for!

He also recently began supporting the #minnowuprising initiative (which we're a big fan of). In his latest post he writes,

"If we are going to survive as minnows, we must stick together. We have got to form large schools. Our power is in numbers, and without these numbers we cannot overcome the huge whales that haunt the waters of Steemit."

How MinnowFund Works

Every week we ask the MinnowFund community to nominate their favorite content creators on the Steem blockchain. We then select one person each week to receive 100 SP delegation from the MinnowFund account for a total of 45 days. They also receive a curation trail of upvotes from our account for the full period of their delegation.
