Look, I know - I've seen loads of war movies and heist movies and spy movies, and all this is is a bag full of tropes and characters rattling around the Star Wars universe.
Are there better war movies? Spy movies? Heist movies? You know there are - how could there not be. But those things together now make me wish for a ten hour directors cut of Rogue One.
Not one laser sword. Not one. Just tension, inescapable. And - for a Brit - the palpable fear of living under a hierarchical bureaucracy that long since taught you that it didn't care whether you lived or died so long as you did both efficiently.
This is an all too believable future for anyone in Truss' Britain. For on Friday we discover if all our pensions have been sacrificed on the vainglory of a Tory party made up of financial Deathseekers.
