Can the Sun be a gate to another dimension?

I had an interesting conversation the other day with one of my friends, mainly about science, and he came up with this extraordinary theory of his about our Sun.

"The physical Sun you see in the sky is not really a material phenomenon. If those intelligent scientists who believe that they know everything – or at least believe that there is nothing outside the material universe-used their science to measure the total amount of energy produced by the physical Sun, and then measured the internal processes taking place in the Sun, they would see that there is actually a deficit. In other words, the actual energy produced by the material processes of the sun itself does not correspond to the energy released by it.
The physical Sun is simply a portal to the energy flowing from another dimension…"

Have you ever heard an explanation like this?Sounds pretty unusual right?By his logic,if all the suns are gates of an energy flow from another dimension,then blackholes must be energy vacuums from one dimension and become suns in another one.What do you think?
